hey vanille! thanks for doing mute monday. i think i know the story because this painting is really based on an assignment i used to give when i was teaching...the animal stack.

The donkey brayed, the hound barked, the cat mewed, and the cock crowed.
grimms fairy tale is the fairy tale it reminds me of. they also stacked themselves upon each other.
i truly love your composition, the clean lines...and the colors...wow..
and i did notice the wall paper. gorgeous as well as those curly q's on the lamb. it's not fussy, it's meticulous.

yeah, i noticed the wallpaper for sure.

have you ever read the h.p. lovecraft short story called "the yellow wallpaper"?

cause that's what it reminds me of, like it moves a bit.... spooky

sorry to hear you are sort of fizzled out ... (meh, i can just here them damned bronchitis wheezes and rales rattle in me chest whenever i try to sleep ~ grrrrrr) take care grrrrrl ... i saw a baby rottie on the subway train yesterday ~ made me thing of k9 ... also, i wondered ... why does lazarus always have a dog? what's the dog symbolize?
