That was a really nice minute. I listen to a cricket/water sound DVD at night when I sleep. There is soemthing so very peaceful about listening to nature.

Well edited... and that Trout! He's a beauty.

Wonderful images and great sound. Peaceful. Maybe they should hold "peace talks" there instead of the same stuffy rooms where wars are planned.

/t: its like a visual codepoetry isnt it? especially the first frames of the little circles and light on the waters surface. thanks!!!!!!!!!

anonymous boxer: thanks girl....a prizefighter needs some soothing sounds to lull her cortisol back down to neutral. trout is a SHE-WOLF. i know, everyone says thats not a girl name but she's a slippery lil fish therefore:trout. good to see ya AB!

artfulsub: great idea! ive thought about you a few times this weekend...i thought "you bum, build your website for God's sake!...but the critical hard drive is at the studio....excuses excuses." happy MM artful.....you must be pleased with how large the MM ring has grown!

Regarding the name "Secretariat" here is the truth straight from Penny Chenery:

After several other names were rejected by the Jockey Club, Elizabeth Ham, Christopher Chenery's Secretary, picked Secretariat. She had previously worked for the United Nations, a Secretariat.

I think "Scepter" was the first rejected name. The Jockey Club will reject a name for a variety of reasons. The most common being another registered horse already has the same name or a very similar one.

His father was Bold Ruler and his mother was SomethingRoyal. So most of the rejected names alluded to royalty in some fashion.

She Wolf! The name is even better, knowing the "back story."

The irony; I listen to rain on a DVD to sleep, but in my part of the world... that's all it does.

If only I could see the world as you do...
And be a true friend- as I dearly want to...
To live and love and swim as Trout does-
Then I would know true love~

But I do know you pup- and love you with all my heart :)
What a beautiful post...just what I needed (along with the pain meds :), on a day like today ;)
Best dentist in the entire world- Insurance that covered 80% of the visit...a husband who unloaded and RELOADED the dishwasher- and kids who have "worried" about me???
I should be so lucky!!!

gawd- I miss you :) I do.
I'll call you this week- as soon as the "jaw" can keep up with my brain :) But I love you all the same!
-me :)

Ok- apparently pain meds make me goofy and mushy! sorry about that! lol...I thought I'd delete my comment but then decided to leave it. :)
Hugs- and I did love the video.
My jaw is a little swollen and still sore- but otherwise I think I'm good :)

I have been waaaaay too scared of iMovie for waaaaay too long. Your blog has inspired Moi to get off my hind end and try my hand at lovely videos as well.

BTW, Trout is an awesome-lookin' houndy pup.

Thanx fer the country wander, gal.
So?
Are ya happier with yer productiuon, now? Looked pretty good from this end. So, it seems Trout was trading in his squirrel clothes for some fins.....

I fergot my button today, but, sometime this weekend, I got a picture of ya wearing a halo....

did you say, "break yer neck?" over at Jean's? Dang! That would make fer some terrible luck, except, of course, it happenning so close to Halloween....
Well, you know.
Y'all wouldn't have to go get a costume. You could just go as an angel.
