light filtered through
verdant fragrant life
pushed through winter's coat
thrown to the forest floor
soft
with mosses and loamy peat
ferns unfurled
spent dandelions
rose like apollo spacecraft
shooting upward
on contrails of supple green
confusing queen anne
a faint rumble in the sky
the fine chalk mark
left behind
the jet high above
intoxication
This is, indeed, intoxicating...
There are many things about the south that are intoxicating to me. Its abundant plant life is top of the list. Happy MM!
Love the ferns and trilliums...and the chicken! Happy MM!
intoxicatingly and abundantly beautiful....
The intoxicating quiet beauty of the North Jawja Piney Woods in da Spring. Excellent!
Happy Mute Monday!
Gorgeous photos! Happy MM!
Leaf mold and spring flowers. I love them both. The giant chicken lurking in the forest is a new twist that seems entirely right for Mute Monday. Tell that chicken I was only eating the bacon, not the eggs. Yikes.
In those first four photos, I had this feeling that someone was looking back at me. By the time I got to the chicken, I was sure of it.
Actually, I love that shade of purple. Always have. Purty.
Easily my favorite of the MM inclusions. LOVE THIS ONE!
Awww, love the last photo and I'm smelling the others through the computer.
it official

It must be magical to wander through there, subtle sunbeams dancing on lush greenery & such beautiful flowers. The fragrance & whole experience would be intoxicating. :)

Beautiful shots. Don't let the Fish and game folks catch you picking those wild flowers though!!
I can almost hear the banjo / guitar interplay, and the sloshing of canoe paddles!
