red monkey

got one today! velvety soft vintage vibed red monkey. thrilled the light got the metal tops crisp. still wish the glitter would sparkle for the camera. this one goes to the might-be-a-catalog-page file.

major thanks to seattle plastics for the prop - its so good, no photochoppies were required. look! you can barely see it.

I say why wait until Christmas? Cool art balls are great for any month of the year! Especially when they sit on fabulous acryic stands.

Oooh, if only plastics could rule the world......

if only.

For more glitter to sparkle, try the Lord of the Rings number.

and a one anda two anda three tappity tappity tap tap tap tappity tappity tappity taptap tap...no.. wait a minute. NOT dance number!

To get Giladrial's eyes to sparkle, they set up white christmas tree lights on "antlers" to reflect.
Looked great, too.
I think if you set up a whole buncha Christmas lights you'll have way more sparkles showing.
I have no idea what using assorted colors would do for your scene, though. The reds and warms of it are really nice.

And the Monkey looks FUN!

PhoKid: Phish phor Pho coming (i swear!) this week

boney: youre right: the ones in the tree shots are more sparkly...but i need a decent shot of each individual too without background noise of tree ..my limitations are becoming my "aesthetic"..im as excited about designing the catalog as i was making the characters. thanks for the observations keep em coming.

aunty: thanky much. i am making a group of dogs. remember your rottwieler ornament? i might make a group of dogs: a red hound, a rotty; yellow lab; and a two toned dog like the kind with a white muzzle and black or brown haid.

I love your sense of style. Everything is better with sparkles...kinda like everything is better with sprinkles. You should make a catalog of your ornaments :D
